WEDDING FAQS
How many photos will I get?
There is no guaranteed amount of images, as everyone’s wedding is different and it depends on your schedule, travel times, etc. Typically we provide 1 edited image every 1 to 2 minutes.
Do we get the Raw files?
Raw unedited files are never provided to the client. The photographer chooses which images he/she deems acceptable, any images that are duplicated, blurry, or eye closures, etc. will be eliminated.
Do we get all the high resolution images on USB with copyright release?
Yes, you get all high-resolution images seen in your online gallery provided on USB Drive. The copyright release permits you to reprint your images wherever you choose. However we recommend using a professional lab. There is never a copyright release permitting you to re-edit any photo in any way.
What is your booking policy?
A 50% deposit is required to secure your wedding date. 30% is due on or before your wedding date and 20% is due when your wedding gallery goes online and your USB Drive is ready for pick-up.
Do you offer any “Off-Season” discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for any weddings taking place from December to March.
Do you do Destination Weddings?
Yes, we LOVE Destination Weddings. Please contact us for more details.
Is your coverage continuous?
Yes, our coverage runs continuously from the time we start at the first location, including travel time in between locations and if you require us to be there through dinner.
Do you require a meal?
Yes, if we will be there through dinner then we require a meal. We usually are still working during dinnertime, as often this is when speeches occur. Please make sure you have made proper arrangements. It is best to sit us at a table that will be served right after the head table so that there is no delay in taking the photos of speeches, or dances, etc.
How many Photographers will I get?
All of our packages include Amanda as the main Photographer. You have the choice to add on a 2nd photographer, and that will mostly like always be Mike Gibson. The Photographers do not split locations. An assistant may accompany us.
Can I change (add/remove) items from a Package?
Yes. All wedding collections are completely customizable.
What Forms of Payment do you accept?
We take Cash, Cheque, Credit Card, Money Order, and Email Money Transfer.
Helpful Information.
It is best to provide us with the details of your wedding date as soon as you have them, however, we will contact you at least two weeks before to get some finals details, and to figure out the schedule for your day.
If you are paying for product with a Personal Cheque, then no product will be provided until the cheque has been cleared through the bank.
Any Park Permits required for your wedding photos are your responsibility. If you need help deciding on a location we would love to discuss some great options for you.
Ideally we would love 60 minutes to photograph just the couple, take this into consideration when scheduling your day. Allow for time to
photograph the family and wedding party. Ideally 1.5 to 2 hours is a good amount of time. Just remember, the more time you give us, the less rushed you will feel, and you will end up with more photos. Don’t forget to think about travel time!
