We used Gibson Photography for our Engagement Shoot and our Wedding.  Amanda was so flexible and professional and laid back and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process.  With a very large wedding party and families, she was able to accommodate everyone and capture the essence of every moment of our big day!  The photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! “Our engagement shoot was a great way for us to see how Amanda worked, her calm demeanour and easy going manner made for a really fun afternoon and even though we had to brave cold temperatures and strong winds Amanda made sure we had a beautiful photo shoot!

We had the pleasure of working with Gibson Photography for our engagement photos, a boudoir session and for our Wedding!! The entire experience with Amanda and Mike was amazing. They are so much fun to work with, very professional and made us feel so comfortable. They captured the memories and emotions of our wedding day so well it’s hard to even put into words.  I guess a photograph really does say a thousand words! With the way they gave great direction for what we should do to make the most out of our poses, knowing  which poses looked best where, and the efficiency and timing in which they worked with such a large family and wedding party shows just how much experience they really have.  They executed the ideas that we had envisioned for our big day so well, especially the first look at Tiffany Falls and the late night photos with the sparklers at the Ancaster Mill (our MOH and Best man running around in the dark with the sparklers was truly hilarious!).  Amanda suggested a great spot at Darnley Falls for the engagement shoot and toughed it out in the rain with us for some of our favourite shots of the day.  Amanda was also incredible when we did a surprise boudoir session as a present for Shawn on our wedding day.  She fit it in to her tight schedule and was able to get some amazing shots for me to give him the morning of the wedding.  Amanda made me feel very comfortable and beautiful doing these photos which turned out absolutely fantastic and tasteful; definitely a self-esteem booster as well as a great present for the new hubby. We had the best time working with Amanda and Mike and Shawn and I cannot wait to work with Gibson Photography again!!

I first met Amanda in December 2014, while looking for a photographer for our engagement and wedding. From the moment we sat down together and started discussing our vision for the wedding, I knew that our search was over. Not only are her photos breathtaking, but Amanda is friendly, easygoing and attentive. Those qualities were essential because, after all, she would be a vitally important part of our wedding. During the planning process Amanda was so helpful by suggested photography locations, and numerous other details, to consider for our wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, Amanda’s presence was discreet and inconspicuous. This kept us relaxed and resulted in the wonderful surprise of her capturing many candid moments. The photos that Amanda took for our engagement and wedding far exceeded my expectations. There isn’t a single photo that I wouldn’t proudly show to family and friends. We ordered other products, such as custom photo albums, for ourselves and our families. They look extraordinary! It’s obvious that Amanda takes great pride in her work, and strives to accommodate her clients.

Since our wedding, family members have chosen Amanda for maternity and newborn photo shoots. They are delighted with their photos.
